In central areas of the city people hop rickshaws to keep from having to wade through the floods. One of the culprits besides poor drainage systems is the littering habit. Plastic bags and other bits block the drains and prevent drainage from working properly. The true rains held off til after the pujas this year...and its raining as I type this!
